Highland Catholic School Extended Closure Plan for Parent/Guardians

March 2020

This plan is intended to serve the best interests of students, employees and families in the event of an extended closure of the school.  The extended closure could be due to a major health concern (such as the Coronavirus), weather conditions (such as a winter storm) or major building maintenance/repair needs (such as broken water pipes).

Regarding the Coronavirus: While it is anticipated that the school would have the full support of the Minnesota Department of Health in dealing with a crisis involving a Coronavirus incident, the school has primary responsibility for the health and safety of its students and employees in school. Therefore, the school will react swiftly and decisively to assure the good health and safety of those individuals if a crisis occurs.
