Note on H1N1 Flu Virus:

Saint Paul Public Schools share their guidelines for student wellness with us, and they are referencing the CDC web site www.flu.gov, and it will tell you the action steps recommended.

Our Hi-C plan will be communicated to families the first and second week of school, with updates every few weeks. Expectations for everyone in the building will include covering coughs and sneezes, hand washing, and staying away with fever greater than 100.  We will provide hand sanitizer, stock bathroom soap and towels daily, and communicate with each other often.  The Wellness Coordinator will also be putting a display in the lobby for visitors. Thank you for your consideration in this matter to keep our community healthy!

Ages 6 mos. and up. The "usual" insurance cards accepted, otherwise $10. Injection and mist offered; -same price. Kids under age 10 need 2 doses. They'll get a card that day with info to go to their M.D. 4 weeks later. Recommended for everyone except those with lab-confirmed diagnosis. Suspected-diagnosed people should still get the vaccine. Round three of H1N1 outbreak is expected this winter (that's now.) We're asking folks to call the school office to reserve a time slot for staffing plans. Thanks!

Thank you for your diligence.
