What a great time we had at the potluck!  The show was great and the food was excellent!  What a fun was to wrap up a fabulous year!

A special thanks to Ms. Romportl, Sr. Steelman, Mrs. Beecham, Mrs. Weber and Mrs. Schmidt for their help with the show

The kinders did a FABULOUS job yesterday leading the All School Mass!  From the greeters to the readers to the gift bearers, every kid did a great job!

We have been busy practicing our songs and dances for the Kinder Potluck next Tuesday.  (Warning parents: prepare those video cameras and stuff your pocket with tissues!)

Between all the fun, we have been working on subtraction in math, syllables and writing sentences in language arts, insects in science and countries in social studies!  Lots left to fit in these next 8 days!

Today we had a great time planting butterfly friendly flowers in our school garden.  We also counted and graphed the variety of flowers and trees we have on our school grounds.  It was nice to be learning outside in the sunshine!

We had a fun but wet time today at Dodge Nature Center.  We braved the downpour to go on a nature hike looking for signs of aminals.  Here we are nice and dry before our hike!

We are also busy learning about insects and even have some caterpillars that we are watching change into butterflies.  We did a bug stamping project and just "bugged" each other :)

And after a week of rainy days inside we decided to make the best of it by forming a band (of K'Nex instruments!)

Rock Band!

The Egg Drop has been moved to Friday due to the rain.  Hope to see you there!
